Each year I co-host the Best Year Blueprint workshop for our fitness entrepreneur clients, and after working with people to set the stage for making 2022 awesome, I can tell you that the ‘first domino’ to having your best year ever is…

 

…YOU.

 

See, I think that all too often we act as our own parking brake.

 

We hold ourselves firmly in the place where  we’ve been and won’t allow our ourselves to reach our full potential.

 

This is true in business, fitness, relationships, LIFE…

 

So how can you change that?

 

Let me start with a few suggestions.

 

  1. Decide what needs to happen by next December that will allow you to look back over the past year and feel like you’ve had the type of success that you want.

 

Be aggressive with those goals…but still, be realistic.

 

I like “The Dan Sullivan Question”:

Smart Goals

  1. Decide what has to happen and what has to change for you to get there.

Make no mistake…something has to change to get a different outcome.

This is where I apply “The Pat Rigsby Question”:

What do YOU need to CHANGE in your business/life to make that happen?

 

  1. Commit to doing two things…

First: Taking the actions you need to take to produce the results you want.

 

Second: Investing heavily in you.

 

See, I think that investing in you is the investment that will always give you the best ROI.

 

Whether we’re talking about buying a book, getting coaching, attending an event, or learning a new skill…more than stocks or bonds, this sort of thing will give you a powerful yield that pays off forever.

And, while I’d love for you to invest in yourself by joining for the our Body Transformation programs, I know that it’s not for everyone who reads this post…

 

So, let me just remind you that your outcome goals (lose weight, gain muscle, make more money, improve your relationship, read more books, etc.) start with your BEHAVIORS.  

 

You must take new, better, and more consistent actions if you want to really accomplish big things, no matter what you do.

 

So, get clear on what behaviors you need to change/adopt and start taking action little by little to make them a habit.

 

It’s your life…which puts the responsibility on your shoulders…but it provides you with a massive opportunity.

 

So that’s a quick look at what you need to do to make 2022 your best year yet.
