This week I found myself asking, “how did we get here?” And by that I mean, October!!! And yet here we are in one of my favorite months of the year. I’m here for ALL THE FALL THINGS!

The Transformation Journal
The Transformation Journal…our NEW journals that Justin and I designed are HERE and people are already loving them!!! I have been journaling for the better part of a decade now and I could never find exactly what I was looking for in a journal. And then with the work and teaching, we have been doing around mindset the last 18 or so months I decided to just create one.
We designed this journal to fit into your life, meaning there isn’t a set time of day to do it, it doesn’t take a whole lot of time, and it will leave you feeling better than when you picked it up! The first cover of many even has my mantra…progress not perfection.

What I’ve Been Listening To
I’ve been reading and also listening to books on Audible. This month I read “The Guest List” by Lucy Foley and loved it! It’s a great book to read while under a cozy blanket with the fire on.
On Audible this month I listened to “The Complete Works of Florence Scovel Shinn,” and “Love Yourself Like Your Life Depends on It.” Both were good and if I had to recommend one it would be “The Complete Works of Florence Scovel Shinn.” This will be something I will listen to again and I will buy the book to reference.
What I’ve Been Wearing
I have also been wearing the classic eyeshadow palette that is absolutely beautiful this time of year. We are having pictures taken next week and it is my go-to.

What I’ve Been Eating
I’ve been eating fall-inspired salads and detox friendly foods. Justin and I are wrapping up our 21 Day Detox today and we feel great! I’ve experienced some great reminders over the last 3 weeks and learned some valuable lessons, not to mention I am overall feeling better! I’m guessing I’ve lost weight but since I don’t weigh myself, I don’t have any exact numbers.
We have shifted our lunchtime salads to our favorite tuna salad with apples & pumpkin seeds and a fall harvest salad with roasted squash. Both are delicious. CLICK HERE for my 10 favorite apple recipes.

A few other happenings this month…
We celebrated our 100th episode of The Transformation Show with two special guests! If you haven’t had a chance to listen, CLICK HERE. Honestly, the episodes we put out this month have been some of our BEST so far! Be sure you go and listen.
Hormone testing. I spent the summer studying and completing a course to be able to offer more advanced hormone testing as part of my Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner certification.
I personally completed a DUTCH (dried urine test for comprehensive hormones) test this month and received some VERY valuable insight into what is happening with my hormones. I had a few glaring red flags that I know have been affecting how I look, feel, and perform.
Now that I have this information I can take action on changing it…knowledge is power.
I am now taking on a handful of people to complete the test and get a results review complete with recommendations for diet, rest, exercise, stress reduction, and supplementation. I can work with anyone, anywhere. Please email me at email@example.com.
Badger and I have been enjoying crisp fall morning walks and taking in the changing of the season. Nature is truly beautiful and I am grateful to experience it.
