Rows are an underrated exercise.
A lot of training programs are unbalanced especially when it comes to the upper body. Everyone always wants to do push-ups, presses, raises, etc. They work the chest, shoulders, and triceps and never focus on the stabilizer muscles of the back. This can cause issues in a person’s posture as well as contribute to back problems.
We need to work the backside of the body as much as we work the front. It is ideal to do a 2:1 ratio of pull exercises to push exercises.
Watch this video to learn several different row variations and proper form for each to get the most benefit from the movement.
