Is it Friday???

After spending almost two weeks in quarantine, knowing what day of the week it is right now can be a challenge. One of the things helping me is our virtual morning workouts with our members at The Transformation Club.

So, what are you going to do this weekend? My plan is some organizing, relaxing, reading, baking, spending time outside, and a little bit of work.

Today I want to share some recipes with you that you can bake this weekend that are lower in sugar, don’t contain inflammatory foods like gluten or dairy, and still TASTE GREAT!!!

Healthy Weekend Baking Recipes

Yes, we do want to be conscious of our sugar intake right now because it can negatively impact our immune system. That doesn’t mean we have to do zero sugar.

Here is something I do to reduce sugar intake: I cut the amount of sugar in half for any recipe I make because we don’t like things sweet. For example, if it calls for ½ cup of maple syrup, I use ¼ cup. Depending on the recipe, you might not be able to cut sugar by the full 1/2 as it could change the structure and texture of the baked good. If you need help with substitution suggestions, drop us a comment below!

10 Healthy Recipes to Bake This Weekend…
